	Age: 24 yr Alcohol: 55.7% Rating: Total: 72/100	Nose: Smells like you've stuck your head in a fresh wood chest. After some more air exposure leaves some brown sugar. Taste: Not rich or full bodied. 	Age: 12 yr Alcohol: 57.2% Rating: Total: 85/100	Nose: Sweet, buttery, fresh with caramel on the back. Taste: Spicy with fruits. Bit of water opens it to have some more grains and hint of oak. Spice lingers and is warming. Notes: Single Advent Calendar day 17

	Age: 7 yr Alcohol: 59.9% Rating: Total: 87/100	Nose: Sweet and dark fruits. Creamy and rich. Taste: Pretty drinkable for the ABV, but water helps of course. Starts out spicy, with an oaky flavor midway through. Finish is very subtle. Flavor is like a bottle rocket that bursts and then fades. Notes: Single Cask Advent Day 16

	Age: 35 yr Alcohol: 47.1% Rating: Total: 79/100	Nose: Smoke! Sea air with a dark sweetness following. Brown sugar and molasses? Taste: Smoke and salt. Warm ginger and an herbal note. Smoke lingers on the finish. Well balanced. Notes: Single Cask Advent Day 15. Adam liked more than I did.

	Age: 5 yr Alcohol: 58.0% Rating: Total: 80/100	Nose: Peaty, moss, earthy. Not sharp like you'd expect. Taste: Needs water to smooth it out. Still smoky, dry, no fruit or sweetness. A chemical flavor I can't pin down. Notes: Single Cask Advent Day 9

	Tullibardine 9 Yr Old 2006
	Age: 9 yr Alcohol: 57.0% Rating: Total: 77/100	Nose: Alcohol smell coming through very strongly. Need to nose it a few inches away to spare your nose hairs. Caramel, apple. Tasting notes say "massively chocolate-y," and I disagree! Go on a Theo chocolate factory, and then you'll know massively chocolate-y. Taste: Very hot due to the ABV - water! Chewy, and thick. Had a heavy grain-y, almost herbal quality to it before the spicy finish. Notes: Single Cask Advent Day 8

	Glentauchers 6 Yr Old 2008 Cask 8511273
	Age: 6 yr Alcohol: 51.3% Rating: Total: 79/100	Nose: Creamy, sweet citrus like lemon meringue pie, noses bright and happy. Taste: Due to the ABV, it's got a kick, and a more savory quality than expected. No citrus here! Needs some water to open up. Grains, but not very complex overall. At the VERY end there's just a mild suggestion of smoke. Notes: Single Cask Advent Day 7. Matured in an octave Cask (50 liters)

	Jura Tastival 2014
	Age: 0 yr Alcohol: 44.0% Rating: Total: 84/100	Nose: Bright, clean, with a brown sugar end. (Smell makes me think of a bright sunny morning.) Taste: Doesn't taste like it smells. Makes me think of a darker red-brown. Hint of smoke, but with a sea-sweetness (definitely salty). Notes: With 7 finishes, you'd expect it to be a bit more muddy in flavor profile, but not too bad!

	Age: 0 yr Alcohol: 43.0% Rating: Total: 85/100	Nose: Sharper nose, nail polish remover? Sweetness on the back of it - brown sugar. Taste: Not fruity. Adam says chewy, a richness. I say a grainy, nutty toast with a non-fruity sweetness. Notes: Doesn't linger. A burn, but no spices.

	Kilchoman 100% Islay 5th Edition
	Age: 0 yr Alcohol: 50.0% Rating: Total: 87/100	Nose: Bright up front with a bit of vanilla at the end. Grassy. Taste: Barley up front, green grass. Adam gets evergreen. And some smoke, but balanced. And not hot, considering its 50%! Notes: All from Islay - yay!

	Dry Fly Port Finish Wheat Whiskey
	Age: 0 yr Alcohol: 43.0% Rating: Total: 82/100	Nose: Fresh, vanilla, sweetness, fruity. Taste: There's a sharpness there perhaps from its youngness. But definitely a blast of fruitiness up front, with a sweet vanilla note. Notes: Pretty good. It's a huckleberry port used.

	Invergordon 50 Yr Old 1964 (cask 2) Xtra Old Particular (Douglas Laing)
	Age: 50 yr Alcohol: 43.0% Rating: Total: 89/100	Nose: A lot going on! Some nail polish remover on the front, raisins, plums, Creme brûlée, fudge. Taste: Little heat on the initial sip, but goes away quickly. Strong roasted flavor, but different than in a Westland malt. Sweetness (corn on the mash bill?), vanilla and caramel. Very smooth and warming. Notes: Advent day 24! Bottle is $432...
